Davyhulme Park Golf Club is a progressive club, mindful or ever changing fashions. It also expects a certain standard
   
Shirts must have collars and be worn tucked into shorts or trousers when playing
   
Tailoured Shirts, designed to be worn outside of trousers may be worn in the clubhouse
   
Any golf shirt, manufactured by a recognised golf apparel brand may be worn on the course or in the clubhouse
   
Tailored shorts are permitted on the course and must be worn with any sports socks pulled up and may be worn in the clubhouse during the summer season with the exception of the Snooker Room where they are allowed up to 7.00pm
   
Headgear must be appropriate to golf and be worn the correct way round
   
Track suits, shell suits, jeans denim clothing and training shoes (except for caddies) are not permitted to be worn on the course or in the clubhouse. Golf shoes must be worn at all times on the course. Golf shoes and waterproof clothing of any description may not be worn in the clubhouse except in the locker rooms
   
Gentlemen must wear socks in the clubhouse
   
Trousers must be ankle length (unless +2’s or +4’s) and not be tucked into socks
   
Smart casual dress may be worn at all times in the Snooker Room, unless otherwise advised.
   
Shoes are the only item of dress which may be changed in the car park and these must not have metal spikes
   
The Clubhouse
 
  • Upstairs Lounge - Smart casual dress except for Captain’s and President’s Prize Weekend Presentations when jacket and tie is required for gentlemen together with any other formal occasion, so notified. Shorts are not permitted after 7.00pm except on competition draw evenings.
  • Alan Rainford Room - Smart casual dress is permitted at all times.
  • Downstairs Lounge – Smart casual dress may be worn at all times except for occasions, which will be notified to members in advance. At social events ‘fashionable’ shirts designed to be worn outside the trousers are allowable when smart casual address is the standard set. Gentlemen will wear socks at all times. Smart casual dress excludes tracksuits, shell suits, jeans, denim clothing and trainers.

Where feasible the above regulations apply to Ladies with the following variations:

Shorts or skirts must be mid thigh length or longer
   
Shirts must be appropriate to golf with or without a collar and do not need to be tucked in
   
Vests and tops with shoestring straps are not permitted
   
Cropped trousers may be worn
