Michael Lane & Matthew Williams (Blackley GC)
The Junior League Knockout title completed a great double for Davyhulme's Michael Lane, 3 weeks ago he won the league Scratch trophy at Worsley Golf Club. This was followed up on Monday 30th August in a close fought final at Worsley Marriott, Michael persevered to beat Blackleys Matthew William 3&1.
The first 4 holes where halved before Michael made the breakthrough at the 5th to go 1 up, after that he was never down and finished the game of at the par 4, 17th for a great victory.
Congratulations Michael
