Sunday 23rd February 2014 saw the above finalists take centre stage on the 1st tee for the Final of the 2013/2014 Winter league.
Alex Van Schilt & Matthew Broadie return as victors with a winning score of 5&4!!

The Lady Captain and Carol said “that even though they played well themselves, that they just couldn’t compete against the scoring of Alex (who was -1 gross ) and Matthew (who was +1 gross) who both played excellently” -Handicap committee take note!!

It was great to see that the only Ladies entry got all the way through to the Final-and that in the true spirit of the game- you were both still smiling after the game,congratulating the boys on their victory.
We hope that your performance in finishing “runners-up” will act as a springboard for many other ladies to come aboard next year on the back of what you both achieved-well done to you both!!
